Here are the details that we sent out to those of you attending earlier this week.
With the Weekender now just round the corner and our planning pretty much all in place we're excited to share all the important details you need!
Please can you plan to arrive AFTER 5pm on Friday 16th February. There is an event in the venue before us and we need to give them time to prepare for our arrival. That said, it would be great if you can get there by 6pm if possible so that you have time to get acquainted with the venue and to the bar for pre-dinner drinks!
Obviously we will leave most of the packing to you but here are some things that we would ask you to bring:-
All of this term's sheet music
Your lanyard/name badge
Pencil & highlighter
If you want to dress up a little for the Saturday evening, then please feel free to bring something along but it's equally fine if you prefer to keep it more casual.
Choir T-Shirt or Hoodie as it would be great to have a photo with everyone on Saturday.
We are attaching a copy of the schedule to give you an idea of the plan for each day, don't worry about printing it though, everyone will be given one in their welcome pack..
Those of you who are only attending on the Saturday, please can you arrive at 9am for a 9:30 start.
The package that you have paid for covers accommodation, all meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch, tea, coffee and water along with biscuits for session breaks and all guest coaches. Those attending Saturday only will receive Saturday lunch and dinner and be able to stay for the Coaches Concert in the evening. Please note that Bar drinks are extra, and no outside alcohol is allowed in the bar or restaurant.
Finally, please remember that the bridge between Bourne End and Cookham is closed for long term works so you will need to divert around via either Marlow or Maidenhead to get there. There is ample parking at the venue with enough space for everyone.
